Mission Accomplished!
Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
3. Open your heart to praise the Lord
You are a hiding place for me;
you preserve me from trouble;
you surround me with shouts of deliverance.
Psalm 32:7
Confession and repentance
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
The Word
Matthew 10:1-4
Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.
2 These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; 3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; 4 Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

Mission accomplished!
Today we come to the life changing moment of Jesus' disciples. There were more than twelve following Jesus since Jesus started His Kingdom ministry when He says: "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near. " Matthew 4:17
The past 40 days is a time for you to be with Jesus just like those disciples following him daily. And, today is the time that Jesus called 12 out of many to be His apostles. He gave them authority to do what He was doing.
It is somewhat like an instructor in a driving school having 40 lessons with his student. He passed the driving examination after that 40 lessons and he gets his license today. Then, he will be on his own from now on.
The difference is that Jesus can be with His disciples any time and any where. That's how He promised His eleven apostles on the day He went up to heaven. That day, the day of Ascension, Jesus gives the most important command to His apostles and to each one of us:
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
So, what is the difference with today's passage and the message in Matthew 28: 18-20.
Well, quite a lot of difference:
1. There were 12 in today's passage but only 11 in Matthew 28. Judah killed himself!
2. Today's passage was a kind of practicum and Matthew 28 is the real thing. They were really on their own.
3. Both passages they received Jesus authority to do the Kingdom ministry Jesus demonstrated to them.
4. In Matthew 28, the apostles experienced the dying and rising of Jesus. Jesus called His apostles and gave them authority. What about you? Is Jesus saying something to you now?
Jesus is calling you now asking you if you are willing to be sent out by Him to do His Kingdom ministry. The most important thing you have to do after following the 40 days of Break.Build is to get two more people to be together for 40 days, using the Break.Build site: http://www.breakbuild.blogspot.ca/.
Teaching them and being with them to start this most difficult but most important daily spiritual journey with Jesus. Every Christian knows that having daily devotion is basic but 90% to 95% of Christians are not having daily devotion.
Jesus is calling your name now. Are you willing to accept His new appointment to you to be a discipler to help more people to use this 40 days of Break.Build to start their daily intimate relationship with Jesus. After that, you can follow my Time with Abba https://discipler123.blogspot.com/ for a continuous daily devotion.
Jesus is calling your name now! Your name! Can you hear that?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be willing to accept your new appointment to us. Help us to know it is not a difficult job, just to constantly help one to two people to start a daily intimate relationship with you through 40 days of Break.Build. Help us to know that you have given us the authority to do it and to do other Kingdom ministries you appoint us to do. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
Family Corner:
1. How can you share what you have got in the past 40 days of Break.Build to your family members?
2. Do you think your family can be a place for you to practice to be disciplers?
1. Jesus called His apostles and gave them authority. What about you? Do you think you can receive His authority to you today just like 2,000 years ago?
2. How do you think of this new appointment? Do you think Jesus is really calling you now? Do you think you are willing to accept this new appointment? Do you think you can do that?
